Owari no Seraph | CRACK! (2x12)

srs spoilers, i'm gonna be talking about everything that happens in the final episode, so if you don't watch to be spoiled then don't read

i seriously don't know whether i like or disliked this episode.
If this was the last episode ever then i more dislike it, but if they get a season three (which tbh i don't think is going to happen) then i think i'm alright with this episode.

There's just so many things left unanswered, and nothing is really solved, or wrapped up. It's probably because this was an anime original end. Which in my opinion was not a smart move. When ever studios decide to take control of the storyline, they usually fuck everything up. And as much as I hate to admit it, this was kind of the case with owari no seraph.

I've said this many times before, but the thing i dislike most about owari no seraph, is the pacing. Everything is always so rushed that they don't get any time to work on the main plot points, before bringing in all of the other, not so important ones. Like they only introduced Guren's split personality thing in episode 11, and they didn't have enough time to explain it. Some people didn't really understand, and they never really clarified it either, because they didn't have time, due to the series' slow pacing.

So short recap, the demon god thing, in the box that they have been teasing the whole season (pretty much the only thing that didn't get effected by the poor pacing) gets released. Then Guren goes insane and kills like everyone, and then the thing is released, because it feeds off of blood i guess. Kimizuki gets stabbed by Guren, after trying to go after his sister, and he's still fine. Doesn't like bleed out or anything. I get that OnS isn't supposed to be realistic (obviously) but other people have bled out and died before, after just being stabbed in the anime. Are they just protected because they're main characters? Probably.

So after that, Mika protects Yuu. But he still wants to protect his family, so he somewhat sacrifices himself, and unleashes the Seraph of the End.

Yuu kills like everything with the power of salt, because demons don't like salt (i only know this from watching supernatural tbh)
Which they didn't really explain, like I get that he is special because he has the seraph gene or whatever, but they never even explained the Seraph of the end in the first place. All everyone knew was that it makes you into some crazy tree, ghoul thing and you try to kill everyone. So how is Yuu suddenly now some king?

AND THEN FERID KILLS KRUL?? Krul's death was not necessary at all, and what the hell even did she want the Seraph of the End for? Like i get that her treason was letting Yuu and Mika live, because they were Seraphs and they weren't supposed to. What did she say to Mika before she died??

We'll probably never ever know.
anyway skipping to the end of the episode, after the conveniently placed time skip, they main characters escape, and then Yuu is fine, somehow? Apparently he just reverted back into a human. And then Yuu being the wildcard that he is, just starts walking off into the ocean... for some reason. And then says "it's raining". And that's the last thing we ever see of them ._.

Then Guren and all of the humans are inside the vampire place, and the vampires are in the human world...? So did they like switch homes or something? Are vampires the rulers of the world now?

So yeah...
That was pretty much it.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the episode. But if that was the end of the series (which it actually might be) then they did a shit job and OnS deserved better.


I hope to freckled jesus there is a season 3.

This was just how i saw the episode, and I don't want anyone to think that I'm trying to force my opinions on everyone reading this. I for one did like the episode, but it was a shitty ending to an amazing series.
