(4K) Stagecoach East Midlands 18309 Route 100

So well….. we haven’t seen one of these sorts of videos in a while and a test on the new phone too in the ultra wide angle and in 4K quality video. Today we see Lincolnshire native (sort of) 18309 KX05 TWE. It’s been a staple of the East Midlands fleet for well over a decade, starting its life in 2005 with Stagecoach Greater Manchester South before eventually transferring to the East Midlands shortly after then. It transferred to Hulls Foster Street depot and in the frequento brand in the early 2010s, it had a short stay with Grimsby but became a permanent thing between both Hull and Grimsby between the 2 for a number of years before eventually moving to Gainsborough depot during the covid pandemic.
So that’s the history of this vehicle we now divulge into today and it’s routing for today, a day out in the Scunthorpe area ensued with the one and only Lucy Michela (link to her channel and her vlog of the day is down below) and noticed that this was running the 100 between Scunny and Lincoln and it’s A roads galore so it was a no brainer and slightly off our original plan for the area. Got to say this sounded absolutely tuneful and A Road thrash and kickdown did happen which is always a added bonus to the video.
