In early 2024, I found a dark spot on my left cheek. After a few months I decided to visit a dermatologist and have it looked at.
She performed a biopsy on it and was determined that is was Basel Cell Carcinoma. A non aggressive form of Skin Cancer. At the same time she found anther spot just like it on my back. Further examination showed dry spots and red blotches on my face that needed to be addressed as well.
She prescribed a cream for me to apply to my face two times a day for 14 days, and once a day for 6 weeks on the spot on my back.
She also suggested that I have Mohs surgery to remove the spot on my face.
This video is a documentation of the Day of the MOHS surgery and the recovery period.
I made this video as an education tool for those that have Skin Cancer and are facing MOHS surgery.
I had no pain for discomfort during the entire process.
