Final drive of the year.

Took the 992 GT3 RS MR to Gotland Ring on fresh CUP2s, mounted in Stockholm.
~300 km road driving before the first lap.

Only 3 real push laps on Sunday:

🚀 15:00 – 3:05
🚀 15:10 – 3:02.04 (PB)
🚀 15:50 – 3:02+ then done.

Track conditions:
☔️ Very tricky. Fully wet both mornings through early afternoons.
The surface kept getting just a little bit drier each time – making it hard to judge braking points or commit fully.
Saturday (8–9°C): too wet – no push.
Sunday (9–10°C): slight improvement after 15:00.
At 15:10 (this lap), it was dry enough to try.
👉 Track was almost fully dry, except from chicane to carousel, still damp.
Each of the three push laps got a bit drier – but before that, conditions were too wet for a proper attempt for me.

For this, my second outing in the MR car, Robin sent over a fresh set of Trofeo RS TIREs – brand new.
So yeah, I had them with me…

Unfortunately, the weather was terrible. This second session was in October, and it was cold.
We’re talking 7–8°C the first day, then maybe 9–10°C the second day – with wet, freezing track conditions.
There was just no point in mounting the new rubber.

I couldn’t get any temperature into the Cup 2s either. Rear tires only reached about 25°C – and the fronts even less.

When CUP2s only reached ~25°C (optimum is 80–90°C), there was no point to bolt on
Trofeo RS

Still – new PB on CUP2s. (As always got full data 📊 10hz from the epic @porsche track app)
Learned a lot. Won’t do another late-season run like this🤣
