When one Doctor just isn't enough...

All thirteen Doctors feature in this 242 word reworked The Rings of Akhaten speech. I know its 242 words as I’ve been ticking them off one by one! Doctor Who Speech

When I started work on this video (a mere 2 years ago!) Doctors reading each other's speeches - like Paul McGan reading the 11th Doctor's Pandorica speech - was starting to become a big thing. So I thought what if they could all read one? I spent a few hours on the first dozen or so words, but how could I stop then, it was practically finished right?

I’ve trawled through what feels like endless Doctor Who transcripts (kudos to Chrissie's Transcripts Site) and then episodes to find the right words to use in this video. I was unable to find the words ‘longing’ and ‘blaze’ so I’ve improvised with ‘long’-‘ing’ and ‘blazes’. I’m not going to pretend this was a quick video to produce!

It has taken a very, very long time.

I could have made so many spin-off videos from this production, but I’ve stuck true to my original aim of having all the Doctors give this speech. At points it’s funny, at points it’s emotional and at points it’s epic, but hopefully it’s entertaining to watch throughout.
