By the late 1940's most automobile manufacturers were still producing similar cars to the pre-war models but by 1949 Ford had something very new in the works and the round iconic '50's styling was being created. There is no mistaking this car as the bullet nose front grill let you know a ford is coming down the road.
Powering this maroon beauty is the original flathead V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Driving this car will certainly give you a blast from the past and is ready to turn some heads. In addition to being a smooth and quiet running car it has been maintained to be very roadworthy and features a new clutch, new brakes and new radial tires.
This car has a very cool period-correct interior, large white steering wheel, turn signals and enormous back seat with plenty of leg room. This car starts immediately and idles very nicely.
