The U.N. Secretary General says he's totally committed to work within the G20 to move key reforms, particularly as it relates to the international financial architecture that must play an increasingly crucial role in the global development agenda - and the sustainability thereof.
He has talked passionately in recent years about the need to reduce the cost of capital for development purposes, address debt distress in developing and low-incoming economies and the urgency of climate justice among others - priorities that have layered the agenda of South Africa's G20 Presidency.
It's the first time that I get to speak to him outside of U.N. Headquarters in New York, as we welcome to South Africa and SABC News, the 9th U.N. Secretary General António Guterres
