Manitoga - Premiere performance at the Russel Wright Design Center, July 2014

Video documentary on the premiere of Manitoga, an hour-long site specific piece commissioned by Manitoga/the Russel Wright Center for Art and Design in 2014. Manitoga is scored for mutantrumpet/electronics and 8 phonemophones, natural brass instruments in the shapes of letters, created by visual artist Carol Szymanski. The work was made possible by a New York State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Grant. Audio is taken from a WNYC New Sounds Radio show interview of Ben Neill by John Schaefer.
