The Legend of Zelda franchise has been a series that I have loved with all my heart ever since I played it on the Nintendo 64. The first release on the gamecube is also one of my favorites, but Windwaker got mixed reviews due to the unique art style. Many wanted a new Zelda game with the style of Ocarina and Majora and that is what they got with Twilight Princess. It was initially a launch game for the Wii, but also came out on the Gamecube.
Many years later a HD remaster came out for the WiiU and that is the definitive version that I played and recorded today. Twilight Princess still feels very cool and magical with so many memorable characters and places you visit. Some of the dungeons you go to are also one of the most unique like the Ice Mansion inhabited by two cuddly Yetis.
I do think that playing as Wolf Link is a little limited in terms of gameplay and I wish that the world was a bit more colorful like Ocarina and Majora. Other than that it is a game that still holds up today and feels perfect to play during the Holiday period.
