and Welcome to a Tender Cashew Nuts (ओले काजू ) Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬
In the last two years we have shown 2 different recipes of Tender Cashew Nuts (ओले काजू ). This year Pooja has prepared Mutton and Pandhara Rassa using tender cashew nuts.
That day Pooja has gone to our farm to collect some tender cashew nuts. She also harvested some ripened cashew apples and nuts. She got home and sat in the front yard meanwhile our Mami ( Aunty ) came and helped Pooja in cleaning the tender cashew nuts. Cleaning them is a tedious job and it puts stains on the hands.
While aunty was cleaning the cashews Pooja prepared a drink using cashew apples, Oranges, Lemons etc. Both Aunty and Pooja enjoyed the Cashew apple drink.
I brought mutton from the market, Pooja cleaned it and started preparing Pandhara Rassa of it. First she marinated the mutton and then cooked it. She used the mutton stock, coconut milk, melon seeds-tender cashew nuts paste to prepare the pandhra rassa.
Once the Rassa was ready she used the cooked mutton and prepared the Tender cashew nuts mutton masala. Later we had both the dishes in the lunch. Pooja gave aunty some of the mutton in a tiffin box.
