In this video, I discuss everything you need to know about ozempic- GLP-1 analog. Ozempic has been proven to be a wonderful medication in both the reduction of a1c but also in weight loss. Additionally, ozempic is also beneficial for the heart. It helps protect the heart. We know that diabetics are at an increased fold of heart attacks and strokes, therefore, ozempic is a great option to help reduce those changes.
I also discuss ozempic side effects such as nausea and vomiting and how I help my patients manage those symptoms. It is important to know the dosing of ozempic and how to taper the different doses which I discuss as well.
