Willemstad is one of my favorite cities in the Caribbean due to its colorful beauty, art, cleanliness, cool places and things to see, and its people. You will never feel unsafe or pressured to purchase junk, there is so much local art everywhere you will find yourself taking pictures all the time! We did a Free Walking tour done by a local resident where you just tipped them at the end, which we were pretty generous as out guide was fantastic! If you have never been to Curacao I highly recommend doing a tour like this so you can get to know the heart of the island.
