To the one who believed in me and my potential. This is for you.

I've been trying to figure out how to tell you just how much I appreciate you but there are truly no words for it. How could there be? I mean... what can I say that can express how thankful and in awe I am at your endless kindness? How floored I am, speechless even, at how much you believe in me and in my future? How grateful I am that you trust me and rely on me when your trust is so hard to earn? How you showed me that I deserved respect?

There's a reason I would fight everyone who hurt you in any McDonald's Parking Lot, I'll tell you that.

But joking aside, it should come as no surprise that I've had some form of romantic feelings for you. It couldn't be helped really with how amazing you've been to me. More than that though is our friendship which I feel deeply blessed and lucky to have. I felt all alone in this world after being singled out and bullied for my lifestyle, my upbringing, the way I speak, move, act, and many many more things I couldn't and wouldn't change about myself. To have met you and known I wasn't alone was one thing but to have been treated with respect and care like you have... I can never find the words. But in trying to find them, I've written this song.

I simultaneously hope you enjoy it and hope you never find it haha.
