In July this year, the rediscovery of kiwi pukupuku or the little spotted kiwi in the wild in Westland, shocked and delighted conservationists.
Now they've got even more reason to celebrate after finding two surprise chicks. Huge news for a species once thought to be extinct on the mainland. Imogen Gibbs has more.
