Thami Schweichler is a social designer, entrepreneur, and impact leader based in Amsterdam. He is the founder of United Repair Centre, a B2B clothing repair service for global brands that creates jobs for people facing labour market barriers. Previously, Thami has co-founded Makers Unite, a social enterprise promoting refugee inclusion through creative collaboration and sustainable design, an approach that won the What Design Can Do Refugee Challenge in 2016. His work bridges circularity, entrepreneurship, and inclusion to drive systemic change in the clothing industry.
Thami Schweichler was live on stage during WDCD Live Amsterdam 2025. This talk is part of Next Gen Design, empowering young designers in Europe to shape a sustainable future.
