How To Make Your LEGO Minifigure Walk! LEGO Stop Motion Tutorial 15fps Walk Cycle

It's Tutorial Tuesday! In this video, I show you how to do a simple 15 frames per second (fps) Minifigure walk cycle. I break it down step-by-step so you can follow along. Everything is done in-camera to give you an idea of what goes into making a Minifigure walk.

This walk cycle tutorial series will include cycles for 12fps and 24fps, so be sure to check out those videos as they come!

To me, how to make a Minifigure walk is a great skill to have in lego stop motion. It will teach you so much about how Minifigures move!

I use a Canon T3i camera and Dragonframe 4 software to shoot my videos. The sound was done on my Mac using Logic, Ableton, and the LuSH-101 synth.
