Nightlife Cadiz Walking this BEAUTIFUL CITY Spain ⭐

We are in Cádiz, one of the oldest cities in Spain.
Right at the end of the Strait of Gibraltar, the ancient world believed that the land ended here and that there was nothing but water, sea, monsters, and fantasies.

No one had managed to sail out to the ocean and return to tell the tale until Christopher Columbus did so in 1492. That's why, in Greek and Roman mythology, this city was the end of the known, where Hercules placed his pillars and said "non plus ultra." There is nothing beyond.

Today, Cádiz is a city in Andalusia tucked into a small peninsula and surrounded by sea on all sides. More than 110,000 inhabitants live here, with an economy primarily based on the naval industry, fishing, and tourism.


As in all of Andalusia, religious traditions have a special meaning in the city's life. They are important to the people, although they are often seen as entertainment with varying degrees of passion, neglecting religious significance.

Because in Spain, life is largely lived on the streets, in the squares, and in the surrounding atmosphere. It is very common to go out for dinner on terraces and in bars to disconnect from daily stress and enjoy the wonderful temperature and pleasant atmosphere that is always present everywhere.

The city center preserves many buildings from its last reconstruction around 1800. This entire area, being so close to the sea, suffers its consequences, and the tsunami of 1775 completely destroyed almost the entire city.
