We took our baby for his first off roading adventure up in Idyllwild. We did the Black Mountain trail which was pretty easy. The trail was great for his first time as it was basically a fire road with a few ruts and rocky section here and there. Any AWD or 2WD high a bit of clearance can do this trail. It has some beautiful sceneries and there's a few campsite spots along the trail. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully camp here next time.
