RefleX ALL BOSSES

Greetings, everybody!

RefleX is the second installment of the legendary Tale of ALLTYNEX trilogy of PC SHMUPs, both in terms of storyline and release order. Developed by Siter Skain in 2009, the game (and the trilogy as a whole) was regarded as one of the greatest PC SHMUPs of all time, and it's also my personal pick for my #1 favorite SHMUP. It's also the only game in the trilogy led by Ysuer instead of Jirurun, so it plays and feels a bit differently than the other two (ALLTYNEX Second and KAMUI).

Namely, in this game, your most important weapon is a reflective shield that you can use to reflect enemies' bullet. Since you main gun deals very little to bosses yet this game is mainly a bosses game, you'll find yourself relying on the shield instead of your gun and dodging prowess most of the time, unlike other SHMUPs. That being said, it's not terribly hard if you know how to play, but it's still very fun and more importantly, is very, very epic!
