You know that your feet are your foundation, every step, every movement begins there. In this movement practice today we are going to target fascial foot releases with a hard & soft reflex ball and a balance cushion. If you don’t have a balance cushion then a normal cushion will do.
We will be focusing on those connections throughout the bodies fascial system, that continuous network connecting us from head to toe. Imagine a spider web throughout the body that surrounds the muscles and muscle fibres that make up the muscles, it is full of nerve endings, making it one of the body’s most important sensory systems that transmits, not only communication, but movement and tension. It holds everything in place when it is healthy and hydrated movement is smooth and fluid, but when it is dehydrated it restricts and limits movement, that can lead to pain, discomfort and even injury.
