Packing a Fig Tree for Shipping

We've had good success shipping hundreds of fig trees with very good feedback results. We do use spray foam to help secure the tree from moving around in the box and some people have asked questions about that so we decided to do a video today on how we typically pack a tree. Sometimes, for taller trees we will also add a bamboo stake and tie the tree to the stake to avoid shaking around too much, particularly if it isn't growing straight or has been grafted. Also, some people have indicated that they don't consider the foam necessary. We've bought many trees from other collectors and most work okay but we've also seen problems numerous times and feel it's best to provide the best protection possible and this has worked out well.
