Part 3 - Replacing the gaskets
This is Part 3 of a 4-part series on changing the upper AND lower intake manifold gaskets on a 2004 Ford Escape. This video shows how to remove the old gaskets, clean the intake manifolds and install new gaskets. It is very important to clean the manifold grooves where the gaskets seat. Be careful not to gouge the manilfold when removing the old gaskets. Covers years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Also applies to Mercury Mariners and Mazda Tributes.
