Draining and refilling oil and changing oil filter on a Toyota Yaris AKA Vitz AKA Belta 2nd gen (XP90, 2005–2013), AKA Daihatsu Charade (2011–13). Featured is a 2006 Vitz with the 1.3 L engine. Not a hard job to do every 10,000 km.
You will need:

Jack & axle stands, ramps, or some other safe way of getting under the car. Do not use the vehicle's spare wheel jack.
14 mm hex socket with bar and ideally a torque wrench for tightening.

Brake clean / degreaser and rags.
Oil pan to drain old oil.
Container in which to dispose of old oil.
Funnel.
