British Airways Airbus A319 Stunning Approach and Smooth Landing at Stuttgart

(4K, 2025) British Airways Airbus A319 (G-DBCF) approach and landing on Runway 07 on a beautiful spring morning at Stuttgart, Germany, operating flight BA918 from London Heathrow, in early April 2025. Skip to the landing gear down at timestamp 03:50, or the landing at timestamp 06:40. This was my first-time in Stuttgart, and I didn't know anything really about the area or the state of Baden-Württemberg of which Stuttgart is the capital, but wow - the landscape viewed from above on this approach is stunning. We approached over the Palatinate Forest, passing nearby Karlsruhe, Böblingen, and Sindelfingen. I just kept the camera rolling during most of the approach. The final approach to runway 07 sitting on the left-hand side view gives a great view of the roof-tops of the Stuttgart suburb of Echterdingen. This culminates with a beautifully smooth touchdown and what sounds like idle reverse thrust. A long taxi back to the gate then as we park at the western-most gate.
