This is a very long story but we won’t tell it all here.

Last year someone impersonating Sir Derek Jacobi on Instagram agreed to read at our Christmas charity concert (Christmas With The Stars - in aid of Children With Cancer U.K) and when we discovered Sir Derek didn’t have an Instagram account we contacted his agent and asked if he’d be willing to come and read knowing people had bought tickets to see him.
Incredibly, Sir Derek agreed and came to do a stunning reading of ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas.
It was so moving. This is just a small snippet of the whole speech which can be seen on our YouTube channel.

So, Sir Derek Jacobi saved our Christmas concert in 2024.
