One month of activities with our 2025 Honda Civic Type-R!!
After getting the FL5 back from PPF, we knocked out a quick oil change at 1,200 miles to get the engine running clean of any break-in particles. Our MX72 Cressida wagon also finally got to see some sunlight & we cruised both cars over to Carvana in Mission Valley for a Trunk or Treat! Good family-friendly fun & also was dope to see some local San Diego homies pull up with their crazy builds. Nice mix of golden era Hondas, slammed VIP cars & even FK8 Type-R Civics, all decorated with Halloween spirit🎃
The brand new car also got fresh window tint, with 70% on the windshield, 30% on the front & 20% percent in the rear. The ceramic tint keeps the inside feeling nice & cool in the SoCal sun & gives the Civic a luxurious look.
That following weekend, we cruised out to Shelter Island in San Diego for Analog & Grit's Vintage Cars & Coffee. Clearly we weren't nearly retro enough to stunt hard like the classic rides that showed up but our Boost Blue twin Lean [IG: leanmalaya] popped out to keep us company & represent newschool Hondas with us. After a nice chunk of morning was spent by the water, we decided to switch up the scenery & head to a private location for a drive. Be sure to watch to the end for the full TOUGE driving impression!
