Friday Feature Artist - Clarissa Callesen

We are absolutely smitten with Clarissa Callesen and her eye-catching installations and artworks.

She creates her magical beauties using post-consumer recycled materials and is fascinated by the history and energy of objects, particularly found objects.

Clarissa has tutored internationally, exhibited and held solo exhibitions throughout the US, as well as her works being featured in the books “Who’s your Dada?” and “Art without Waste”.

We are thrilled to be not only interviewing and showcasing Clarissa’s artwork this week, but also launching her popular Creating with Courage signature online course.

The course will have you transforming textiles and found objects into authentic fibre sculptures as you strengthen your creativity, embracing and cherishing “mistakes”, through a new world of learning.
