Birthday Trip Vlog-Husband's Birthday Trip to San Francisco, San Jose & Half Moon Bay

This is my husband's Birthday Trip Vlog where we went to San Francisco, San Jose & Half Moon Bay...all in one weekend!

We had an amazing time being kid free (sort of)...being pregnant means I carry this one along with me wherever I go!

My husband likes to do it up big for his birthday trip each year. This vlog will take you through a couple sporting events and a nice leisurely trip to Halp Moon Bay where we got to relax...finally!

Each year my husband takes 10 days to celebrate his birthday. All of it is centered around being thankful for family and friends and enjoying the company of the ones we love. We always make sure to have a trip exclusively for him and I and that is what this vlog is about.

It's true...this is our official Pregnancy Announcement & Gender Reveal! We couldn't be more excited to be expecting our second child! While this pregnancy announcement may come as a surprise to some, many of you have probably already noticed my growing bump in my last 3 videos. Either you though I needed to do some crunches, or you speculated I was trying to conceal a pregnancy (both are actually correct).

In this video we'll talk briefly about our pregnancy journey and then sneak in a little gender reveal for you all! No pink or blue explosions with this gender reveal, just a good ol' fashioned test result reading. Luckily you'll still get a genuine reaction from Alan and I along with some of our family.

I've been chomping at the bit to announce this pregnancy. But we wanted to wait until we knew the gender so we could do everything in one announcement. What are your thoughts on the gender reveal? Boy or Girl?

About me/our family:

I am a working mom of 1...soon to be mom of 2. My daughter Jameson is 2 and I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant. My husband is a Sheriff's Deputy who is currently on graveyard shifts and works ALOT of overtime. This pretty much leaves me to take care of things at home while juggling my position as a Child Nutrition Director for a local school district.

I try my best to keep up with the demands of the home, but I often fall short...which in all honesty is okay to do. Being a mom is hard work and I'm working on being more gracious with myself. While I'd like to think I'm "SUPER MOM", I'm definitely far from perfect and just cannot get EVERYTHING done ALL THE TIME.

I love to try new recipes and try to post recipe videos for others to try. Being healthy is a daily struggle...especially when you have a very picky toddler who only eats carbs.
