Learn how to Animate Transition using Booleans in Unity. It is often required to design your game such that when an input from keyboard/mouse is given by user we want human character to walk or play any any animation for that matter. This is achieved using C# scripting and defining transition parameters and transition properties inside Animator Controller in Unity Game Engine.
Essentially we will learn in this tutorial how to implement switching from one animation to other, using C# scripting language, when an input is given by user. This can be extended to an event when animation needs to be switched/played.
In the Animator Controller Window in Unity in parameters tab we can use any of the parameter types which include Float, Integer, Boolean and Trigger. We will learn how to use boolean parameter in our case. We will also learn to implement and bring animation clips to animator controller in Unity and make transition from one animation state to another.
