Red Lenses (Beth Patterson featuring Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes)

I've heard bands cover Rush songs that are true to the records, but I'm just not that brave when it comes to my favorite band. So I enlisted the help of my friends in Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes to give this song a flavor of New Orleans, which is where we all live. We were lucky to catch a lot of behind the scenes footage (thanks to Jim Fairchild and Lewis D'Aubin). I ran my bouzouki direct and later went back in for some overdubs, but we caught a magical day: the last time I was in a room with so many musicians and dear friends before the quarantine.
