I visited 50 saunas throughout Helsinki/Jyvaskyla/Tampere/Vantaa regions and sweated in 46 of them. I found Rauhaniemi to be the best!
Coming in a close second was Sauna Kyla (sauna village) in Jamsa. The overall experience may have been better there, but due to my asthma and difficulty with smoke (savu) sauna, I found the physical experience best here with the gas heated rocks.
