What can I say? I purchased this MechMaxx SG24 Stump Grinder because of two key points. Price and color. This was a good bit less expensive than all the others and it was the only one that came close to John Deere green!
It was rumored to be manufactured in the same place as the Woodland Mills unit. I don't think that's the case.
I did have problems assembling the PTO shaft onto the jackshaft. There was a ton of damage and paint on both the PTO shaft and the jackshaft that made it impossible to put the two together. This was a huge red flag for me and it got me looking closer at this unit.
