The action takes place during the Great Patriotic War in the Baltic Fleet in 1944-1945 and after the war in 1952. The film tells the story of the torpedo boat commander Boris Shubin, who at the end of the war encounters a mysterious German submarine without identification numbers. Hunting for this submarine, he learns about a secret fairway and the terrible secrets of the Third Reich...

"Secret Fairway" is a Soviet feature four-part film directed by Vadim Kostromenko, based on the novel of the same name by Leonid Platov, at the Odesa Film Studio in 1986.
