The Mollibahn Narrow Gauge Steam Railway. The Molli, or, Mollibahn is a 900 mm German Steam Railway that runs 15.4 km between Bad Doberan, Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn West. This video covers the very interesting part of the trip as it exits Bad Doberan by going down the main high street ! ! ! It certainly demands some additional skills on behalf of the driver and fireman when looking out for all the road vehicles and humans that seem to get in the way!
This video ends at Heiligendamm, a very pleasant coastal holiday town that represents approximately the half way point of the whole Mollibahn steam powered route. Do try to ignore the BELL ! it drove me insane while editing !!!
On the tour that I took part in, it was get on the train, then get off and get on the bus as soon as you can, so there are no other scenes. Everything that I shot is in the video. This is just a taster so that you can go yourselves and enjoy this absolutely amazing and interesting steam railway experience.
