Ford KA, handbrake light keeps coming on i.e. the dashboard light when you put the handbrake on. In the case with a Ford KA, when is the light coming on? First check the brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir is correct (Very important).
When is the light coming on? If coming on when the car is stationary then check the handbrake switch, check the connection then the switch as it may just need cleaning with switch cleaner. If the light is coming on then off intermittently when driving and the brake fluid level is correct then suspect the fluid level reservoir cap float switch.
Test fluid level switch and check as shown in this video. Note that if you are in any doubt about your brakes especially if the car state is unknown then please seek help from a qualified mechanic.
