Israeli composer Nurit Hirsh was honored with the Zamir Choral Foundation's Kinor David Award at the 2019 HaZamir Gala Concert in David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. In "response" she performed excerpts of one of her most recent songs, "HaOr," and one of her most famous selections, "BaShanah HaBa'ah" together with HaZamir (and the audience), conducted by Matthew Lazar.
