My 666th demo...

Why this map specifically? Oh boy do I have a long story to tell you text file
readers out there...

So first of all, the music. Some of the midis included in this wad are the first
Opeth-related contents I ever heard, and the midi for this map specifically hits
close to me, as I was planning to do a more story- and emotion-heavy video project
(that is not doom related) at the time. Will not go too deep into that thing but yeah
because of this midi I decided to go and listen to Opeth for the first time and since
then it has shifted the direction of the story significantly... So thx Opeth for the
musics, and El Inferno for using some of the midi renditions of said musics.

Next, the map. It's a big one, yes! I think I got lost in it for about 30-40 minutes
in-game time while trying to route this map back in 2023, all while having the midi on
so that it hits even closer to me (well, mostly the first half of it anyways). There is
sooo much optional content to be found here, and at the time I thought a lot of them are
part of the progression, so I pretty much abandoned the project for the time being. Then
earlier this year I decided to revisit this map for "the big six" demos (because of the
reason I mention above about the music). So I went ahead and reroute the run, and then I
realize that a lot of the contents here are optional and that there is a more straight
route from start to finish. So that's a relief for me at least :p

The scary parts that kind of make me put this map aside are the shooting range after
grabbing the red key, as well as the platforming section at the end of the map (which
you have to do twice!) Turns out it's not so bad, the shooting range give you lots of
leeway time in case you missed a shot or two, and the finale part is a lot more managable
thanks to the stutter tap technique that I learned in the boscp16 run. The rest are pretty
easy. :D

There are quite a lot of improvements that could be made, for example going faster on the
very first platforming section, not failing both jumps from the rocket launcher and plasma
gun platforms (I failed the latter), doing more sharp turns on some places, and just
general movement optimizations stuff. Also, at the 5:00 mark, there is a small step
that you could use instead of the larger stairs that are slightly further away.
The thing is that I always use that smaller step in practice, but as soon as I started
doing attemps I completely forgot about those smaller steps and just use the stairs.
And only while rewatching the demo I remembered about those step... Damn... Oh well,
I'm pretty much done with this map so if anyone wants to improve the time further,
go ahead!

Anyways I will be busy with other things (Doom-related and not) for a while so this will be
the final demo from me for some time... Not sure when I will be coming back, but until then,
