How to Make Sauron's Mace

Sauron's mace can be seen in the Moon Doom battle scenes in the Lord of the Rings movies; the part where Sauron still has a physical body. You can make a fairly convincing Sauron's mace using old wrapping paper tubes, some clay, and a little bit of spotty painting.

The clay I found at JoAnn fabrics. It was called Plus clay, but if I did it again, I'd probably just use FIMO.

Here's the materials list for the mace:
2-3 old wrapping paper tubes
Cardstock
Photomount Board (or other strong cardboard)
Clay
Puffy Paint
Chrome silver spray paint
Black and Silver acrylic paint
Hot glue
White / craft glue
Water
Thin (1/8th inch) craft foam
Hemp (or other similar) twine
