After a brisk and sunny Thursday, Friday morning’s commute may include a few snow flurries in the Triad, a wet snow shower or two in the Foothills and Mountains and a chance of passing showers. Friday’s highs are forecast to warm up from near freezing early morning. Spotty black ice from a patchy, wet snow showers or light freezing rain may cause limited travel hazards in the Piedmont Triad and prompt school delays or closings while interrupting the early Friday morning commute.
