Have you ever wished your LED display could be controlled by WLED but also by other firmware like ESPHome or even custom Arduino code without physically swapping out the controllers?

In this video I'll cover how to easily build your own DIY matrix to whatever size and specifications you like, and then show how you can connect two controllers to this single display and easiy switch between the firmware that is controlling the display.

The topics covered will include:
Selecting the best LEDs for your project
Proper power supply and power injection needs
Laying out and creating the actual matrix
Configuring and using the matrix with a WLED controller
Adding a second controller for increased flexibilty
Auto-switching and other configuration options
