TRIUMPH THUNDERBIRD 1950 6T - REVELATION 3:3 GRIFFITH TRIUMPH

Just finished frame off build of my TRIUMPH 1950 T-BIRD. First test ride . The quick story of this bike.. bought a 50’ frame and motor , motor had been rebuilt,,, I had all the necessary rigid parts in my garage , as I collect rigid stuff ,,, built up the whole bike over a couple years when I would visit cali. Finally got around to complete the entire build , fired it up , and the bottom end literally seized in the first 30 seconds… the engine was an unknown factor from the git go. Well , I found out ! Anyway,, I pulled the motor 2 weeks ago and I rebuilt it with all new everything as fast as I could. New bearings bushings,, pistons , rings , valves, springs,, different crank ,new shell bearings , new rods .. ect ect … just fired it up November 6, 2024 . Everything on the REVELATION has been mechanically restored,,, rigid rear wheel , sans heavy sprung hub,, gearbox , wheel bearings , shoes , everything! I treated it just like nut an and bolt restoration , without the shiney new thunderbird blue paint . ….Been a lot of good news lately,, that’s what I’m talking about.
