Fort Pulaski: Best Civil War Sites in Georgia 🍑

We took a tour of Fort Pulaski located on Cockspur Island right next to Tybee Island in Georgia. Fort Pulaski is a site of a turning point in military history. The 30-hour battle that took place here was important because the use of rifle cannons rendered brick fortifications obsolete. This site has a lot of history other than war such as the site of underground railroad missions and a horrific prisoner of war camp. Come explore this little piece of history off of the Georgia coast with us.
