In Ontario, Canada we sail on the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island on Lake Huron, the second largest of Great Lakes after Lake Superior. The journey takes us over graveyard of shipwrecks known as Fathom Five national Park. Lake Huron has over 30,000 islands along the shoreline that have caused many shipwrecks over the many years of trade and travel on the lake. The ferry, in its 50th year of operation has a key part of passenger and vehicle transportation in the area linking the Bruce Peninsula with Northern Ontario.
