Pothos houseplants will start to look discolored as if they are dying without enough light. Pothos plants are marked as low light plants but they actually love medium to highlight. The Pothos plant may start turning a yellow coloration or the leaves might start to limp or curl. These are signs of a plant that is on its way to dying.
The most common reason Pothos plants die in household is due to inadequate lighting and overwatering. Figuring out how much water a pothos plant needs is a tough thing to figure out. Depending on where you keep the Pothos plant in your house will depend on how much sunlight it gets to consume more water.
The first thing you should do if you think your Pothos plant is dying is move it to an area with a little bit more sunlight. The second thing you should do is make sure you’re not overwatering the plant. The third thing you should do is make sure you’re not under watering the plant.
