It was no guts, no glory for thirteen 60-somethings when they took the stage at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City yesterday for the annual Miss New Jersey Senior America Pageant. For decades, the Miss Senior America pageant has celebrated women who've reached the "age of elegance." Women around the country compete for a title that honors their philosophy of life and inner beauty -- but with glittering dresses and risque performances, there's a lot of attention to outer beauty as well. Desiree Nigrelli, a former professional singer from Atlantic City, took the 2011 title with her two grandchildren in the audience. (Video by Nyier Abdou/The Star-Ledger)
