Building a Germanic Lyre with basic Tools - Part 3

Recently I built myself a replica of the Trossingen Lyre, which is a roughly 1500 year old instrument found in an ancient grave in what is now Germany. This makes it a Germanic lyre, not an Anglo-Saxon lyre. The original instrument was made entirely from maple, but I chose a combination of oak and maple for mine, because that's what I could easily find. Oak is very rough, which makes it difficult to carve and not so good acoustically, but the finished instrument sounds good enough and there was only one major issue with the carving of the body... A third into the hollowing it cracked in half.

This third part covers the carving of the bridge and tuning pegs, finishing of the surface, kolrosing, and finally stringing and playing.
