Verbier Trail Marathon by UTMB 2024

UTMB Verbier Trail Marathon (07.07.2024)

The Verbier St. Bernard Trail Marathon was significantly affected by adverse weather conditions and natural disasters. The organisers did a great job in quickly designing a new (slightly shorter at 38.3 km) course that bypassed the closed and dangerous areas. However, this also meant delaying the race from the Saturday until the next day (Sunday 07.07.2024) to avoid the storms due on the Saturday.

This video is primarily POV. I have the white silhouette of the GoPro in the sunburn on my forehead to prove it :-)

Congrats to all who attempted and/or completed this Marathon. As the commentator said at the start line, it was not to be under-estimated!
