Trains galore collection from Heritage galas to Mainline tour debuts all throughout 2025!!!

2025 delivered one of the most exciting chapters in modern trainspotting for me, and this video captures the very best of it. From mixtures of Gala & Heritage traction including the Greatest Gathering, to mainline specials with steam, diesel & electric, this year offered an incredible variety of train action for enthusiasts everywhere. You’ll see everything from multiple different types of diesel locos caught on the channel, to some new guest appearances which are a first. Whether it was early‑morning catches and starting of events, different weather problems with non-stop action, or golden‑hour mainline passes, 2025 gave us a little bit of everything — and all of it was worth the chase. 👀

As the seasons changed, so did the scenery: spring brought vibrant landscapes and crisp, clear shots; summer delivered long days perfect for trackside exploration; autumn painted the routes in deep reds and golds; and winter wrapped the rails in a quiet, cinematic calm. Every moment added something special to the year’s collection. 👌
