Here's how to make delicious apple turnovers and you can see our bathroom remodel. The apple turnovers are a vintage recipe and is super easy to do. This recipe uses one sheet of prepared puff pastry and will yield four nice turnovers. Apple Turnovers:
1 sheet of puff pastry thawed according to package directions and cut into fourths.
2 two three small apples
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 dash salt
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 pats butter cut into small cubes. Dot the apples with the butter prior to turning the dough over.
1 to 2 teaspoons all purpose flour
egg wash (1 egg and one teaspoon water. Mix with fork until blended and foamy).
Raw sugar to sprinkle on the tops.
