Concurrently, Denmark, alongside multiple European partners, is deploying military forces to Greenland, sending a clear message about their commitment to enhancing the security of this expansive Arctic territory.

Following a meeting in Washington that included his Greenlandic counterpart, US Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Danish Foreign Minister Rasmussen remarked that a fundamental disagreement still persisted.

He acknowledged that we did not manage to change the American position, but said he had not expected to.
